Trip To The E.R.
Wow!! I think I had the longest night I have had in a really long time. Poor Kayden couldn't sleep at all last night and I couldn't figure out what was going on with him. He was so restless, and whiney. And since Kayden didn't sleep, that means I didn't either. At about 3 in the morning I broke down in tears, with Mike being out of town, and the baby in my tummy up in my ribs giving me cramps, I just didn't know what to do. I finally sat down and asked Kayden if he had anything that hurt, and he was crying pulling at his ear. And then I decided to wake up Dalynn, load the kids in the car and take him to the E.R. I couldn't stand him being in pain any longer. Luckily when we got there the E.R. was empty. Kayden saw the Doc and sure enough he had an extremely bad ear infection. They gave him some numbing drops instantly along with some Lortab, and sent me home with meds. Both he and I slept peacefully for many hours after that. Can I just say how thankful I am for wonderful doctors and medicine.

Tired!!
I did not want to even get out of bed this morning. I was beyond tired for some reason. Mike got in around 1:30am. It was good to see him for a brief moment before I drifted back off to sleep. Our new "sleep number" bed was dropped off this morning by Mike's dad. So Mike gets to set it up when he gets home from work today. I am very excited to see how it works. We have never had a new bed our whole marriage, hence the reason I'm so excited! I will fill you in on how the bed feels. Today I have just been cleaning, doing laundry, making bread, and I am really excited to try out my new pizza crust recipe for dinner tonight! I really hope it turns out! Dalynn had Brienne over here at the house and I helped them play a matching card game. And it was so cute to see them try to remember where everything was. I was trying to teach Dalynn some manners at the same time...because each time she got a match she would say "I won and you didn't Brienne" so we are working on the bragging skills:) Dalynn didn't have school today because it was Martin Luther King Jr. Day. So it was nice to have a break from not driving today.

A Slow Day
Today has been kind of nice and relaxing. I haven't left the house today and have done almost all my housework. Kayden has been wanting to be held almost all day, he has a cold and is not feeling like himself. Dalynn has been playing on the computer and has been helping me with laundry. Tonight Mike's parents are soppose to be coming into town to take Mike up north with them. He is going to help Teresa finish her basement.
